The I PUC Orientation Programme for the academic year 2026–2027 was held on 30th May 2026 in two batches at Carmel Hall, Carmel Pre-University College, Modankapu. The programme commenced with a prayer service followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invoking God's blessings for the new academic year. The dignitaries present on the occasion included Sr. Maria Priya A.C., Joint Secretary; Principal Sr. Felcita; Mr. Suresh N, Vice Principal; Mrs. Carel Reema Lobo, Science Coordinator; Mrs. Shreevidhya C.N, Arts Coordinator; Mr. Sushith P. U, Commerce Coordinator; and Mrs. Shruthi S, CET Coordinator. A brief presentation introduced the students and parents to the college, its faculty members, academic programmes, and co-curricular activities. Principal Sr. Felcita addressed the gathering, outlining the academic guidelines, expectations, and values that the institution upholds. An introduction to the CET coaching programme was also provided. The college warmly welcomed Mr. Prasad Shanbhag, Lecturer from Narendra PU College, who explained the details of the CET coaching programme and guided the science students regarding preparation strategies and opportunities. The orientation programme proved to be informative, inspiring, and beneficial, helping students and parents gain a clear understanding of the academic journey ahead and the opportunities available at the institution.
