Mission

OBJECTIVES :

1. Faith Formation

• While our education is directed towards the total development of the person we will primarily be instilling Gospel Values in those we educate(Apostolic Carmel Const. No. 104)

• to appreciate and accept the Father as our Life Giver, Jesus as our friend and the Holy Spirit as our Sustenance.

• to turn to God in prayer, with a spirit of total dependence;

• to walk/live in a spirit of love, self- sacrifice and service to others in the fotsteps of Mary, our Mother Of Carmel;

• to face the challenges of life with a living faith in God;

• to be morally upright, making choices and decisions in the light of the Gospel Values.

2. Social Concern
• Through our institutions we shall strive to change prevailing situations of injustice by fostering a genuine and active social concern among our staff, students and their families thus helping to build a society of justice, love and peace. (Apostolic Carmel Const. No. 109)

• to imbibe a spirit of compassion, mission and social responsibility towards the underprivileged and weaker sections of our society

• to create a spirit of fellowship, constantly communicating the message that God is our Father;

• to develop a spirit of patriotism and respnsible leadership for the service of our country.

3. Intellectual Formation
• "We shall encourage creativity and research in our apostolate, contributing towards the thinking of education, and experimenting with new methods and projects that would further our common goals." (Ap. Carmel Acts No. 53)

• to seek the only Truth, the wisdom of Creator, through all academic knowledge;

• to develop a thirst for knowledge and to integrate it with life;

• to be creative in outlook and innovative in approach;

• to be critical thinkers in handling issues of society through the media and daily living;

• to work with a sense of responsibility and pursue academic goals with self-sacrifice and perseverance.

4. Emotional Development

• to develop a positive self image and external poise and confidence;

• to strive towards excellence with zest and emotional balance;

• to radiate joy, love, peace and contentment through inter-personal relationships;

• to maintain a balance and positive outlook through the successes and failures of life
