Bantwal Taluk level Athletic meet was organised by Carmel composite PUC Modankap at Mangala Stadium Mangalore on 31 st October 2023. The event began with the Prayer song.
The athletic meet was inaugurated by the DDPU C.D.Jayanna,Sr.Rosilde the joint secretary of Carmel composite PUC,The Principal Sr Naveena A.C and the Principals of Ladyhill, Marjil and St.Agnes PUC Mangalore,The Lecturers Shri Premanath Shetty,Shri Sudhakar Shetty and Mr.Arun Dsouza,The Carmel PTA President Mr.Richard Minezas and the members,Sir Suresh N Lecturer and Suresh Y.S the Physical education teacher of Carmel composite PUC Modankap. The athletic event was inaugurated also by flying off the balloons as a mark of Victory.
14 colleges of Bantwal Taluk took part in various athletic events and won the prizes.
In the boys section Alike PUC got the overall Championship and Likhit B Gowda of Alike PUC got individual championship.
In the girls section Carmel composite PUC Modankap got the overall Championship and Deeksha of Carmel PUC got individual championship.
The whole event was compered by Sir Roshan Pinto.
The Athletic meet was a grand success with the active collaboration of Carmel composite PUC staff, Student Volunteers,the CPED students of Shri K.Ananthraj college of Physical education and the Physical education lecturers of the district.
The event successfully ended at 4.30 pm.
